Jonathan co-founded HookLogic in 2004 on the idea that marketing closer to consumer decision points would not only be more effective for marketers, but also more useful for consumers. Under his leadership, HookLogic has grown from a boot-strap start-up to a global enterprise powering integrated, native advertising and promotional programs across many of the internet’s most recognized ecommerce sites.
As an early advocate of ecommerce media, Jonathan helped make the practice of blending digital advertising sales with traditional commerce models standard among many online retailers and travel agencies. His vision also led HookLogic to pioneer the development of the first search advertising programs embedded within ecommerce sites, putting HookLogic at the forefront of rising trends of native advertising and programmatic buying.
In earlier roles, Jonathan led internet strategy for Xerox Corporation and international operations for online ad pioneer, Beyond Interactive. He holds Masters and Bachelors degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan Tauber Institute for Global Operations.
Chief Executive Officer,
As Chief Innovation Officer, Vardaan is responsible for enabling innovation at HookLogic through the establishment, integration and evolution of processes, product and programs. Focused externally and internally to leverage best practices and learnings, Vardaan provides insight on managing changes in the ecommerce and media landscape. Vardaan incubates new ideas, approaches and models through identifying and executing on emerging opportunities and partnerships.
Prior to joining HookLogic, Vardaan served as VP of Technology and Director of Data Solutions at Beyond Interactive (now MediaCom and part of WPP), playing an instrumental role in growing the company’s technology division globally. Vardaan has designed and deployed scalable technology solutions covering display ad serving, rich media, paid search among others for clients such as Cendant, Oracle, Nokia, RBS, Volkswagen, Warner Brothers and Procter & Gamble. Earlier in his career, Vardaan worked with Accenture and American Express. Vardaan has also served on the advisory board of DoubleClick and the Interactive Advertising Bureau and speaks frequently at industry conferences and events.
Vardaan earned his Master in Business Development at IILM, India. Vardaan is an avid traveler and enjoys spotting the latest cultural and technology trends around the world.
Chief Innovation Officer,
John serves as Chief Revenue Officer for HookLogic. In this role, he builds on the media sales momentum that HookLogic has with brand marketers and their agencies.
John comes to HookLogic by way of Jingle Networks, Inc., where he served as President and guided the growth of free directory assistance service 800-FREE-411. John accelerated the company’s growth, resulting in a $62 million sale to Marchex, a call-based ad network that spans traditional media, online, and mobile. Prior to Jingle Networks, John served as Vice President of Sales of Atlas Solutions (aQuantive). Under his sales leadership, revenue increased from start-up in 2001 to over $100mm, enabling in the sale of aQuantive to Microsoft for $6.2bn in 2007. Before aQuantive, he was senior director of sales with Matchlogic (Excite@Home).

Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Product Officer, Jonn is responsible for managing HookLogic’s product development efforts across all three verticals. He is responsible for roadmap development, feature design and product management process refinement. His overall goal is to make sure the most impactful product updates are made in the most efficient manner possible. Jonn also manages HookLogic’s Ann Arbor Office.
Jonn is a serial entrepreneur and a recognized expert in online advertising and direct marketing, with extensive experience in technology and product development. In 1995 Mr. Behrman founded Beyond Interactive, a leading digital ad agency, which he successfully grew to 300 employees and $100MM in annual billings before selling it to Grey Advertising. After leaving Beyond Interactive, Jonn founded two technology companies; SpiritShop.com a custom printing company focused on the K-12 market and uRefer, a software and marketing services company focused on helping businesses set up and manage referral marketing programs.A Venezuelan native, he now resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Jonn graduated from the University of Michigan Business School with a Computer Information Systems and Marketing degree in 1996.
Chief Product Officer
As SVP of Engineering for HookLogic, Joel leverages his experience in the ad tech space and his technical knowledge to create the long-term technology strategy for HookLogic. He gets to work with talented developers across all three verticals making HookLogic products the best in class.
Joel started his career in online advertising on the agency side, where he developed a data platform that integrated with DoubleClick. He moved on to work on embedded hardware systems at Touchcom. There he was part of a small team that converted the flagship product to a web based client server model. Joel joined HookLogic as a principle engineer. He has developed many proofs of concept and led the architecture of multiple product lines. He has worked to build a team of 30 engineers, including a development office in Ann Arbor, Michigan that leverages talent from the University of Michigan.Joel graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Computer Science Engineering in 1999. When not in the office, he spends time with his 2 young kids and is pursuing his Masters in Technology Management from Columbia University.
SVP of Engineering
Elizabeth serves as HookLogic’s Chief Marketing Officer and Executive VP, Corporate Strategy for HookLogic. She also chairs the company’s Advisory Board. Elizabeth integrates product and brand marketing experience with business intelligence and shopper insights to drive HookLogic’s strategy and performance across the retail, travel, and automotive industries.
Elizabeth is a classically-trained CPG and durable goods professional who builds scale and digital marketing expertise. Trained at Procter & Gamble and The Campbell Soup Company, Elizabeth then moved on to her first startup, Questia Media. She founded Sedna Marketing Partners LLC, a consulting firm working with VF Corporation, Playtex, Reebok, Gillette, Church & Dwight, and Timex. Most recently she was CMO of Summer Infant. She was awarded the Forty Under 40 by the Providence Business News in 2009, and was selected for DM News’ Marketing Hall of Femme in 2015.Elizabeth graduated with honors from Princeton University and has an MBA from INSEAD. In her free time, she coaches her childrens’ soccer teams and is captain of a women’s ice hockey team.
CMO and Corporate Strategy EVP
In her role as CFO, Kimberly has responsibility over many areas, including Financial Planning, Accounting, Human Resources, and Legal. She oversees all the financial and business foundation to support HookLogic’s growth.
Kimberly brings a media and ecommerce pedigree to HookLogic by way of online jewelry retailer Ice.com. Earlier in her career she handled strategic planning at Comedy Central, before a 10 year stint at United Media, a wholly owned subsidiary of E.W. Scripps, where she served in several financial and operational roles. Kimberly then set her sights on the startup world as a CFO for Vindigo, Inc. a mobile application company, XpresSpa, a Spa/Retail start-up, and Jingle Networks. As CFO of Jingle Networks, she was instrumental in the $62 million sale to Marchex, a call-based ad network.
Kimberly completed her undergraduate degree at SUNY Brockport, and received her MBA at Pace University. In her free time, Kimberly can be found smacking volleyballs and softballs, or chasing her kids down the slopes.
Chief Financial Officer
In his role as Automotive President, David leads the Auto division driving partner business development, OEM relationships, and dealer sales to optimize advertiser’s digital performance marketing with full sales attribution.
David brings a wealth of automotive knowledge and experience to HookLogic, both from a dealer and service provider perspective. Prior to joining HookLogic, David was CMO for MileOne Automotive, a large, privately held automotive dealership group. At MileOne, he built an industry-leading marketing organization, leveraging technology and the internet to increase market share, while dramatically decreasing advertising spend per vehicle sold. David previously headed sales for Autobase, where he helped grow the company from a small start-up to the leading automotive CRM software vendor. David began his career on showroom floor, eventually rising to become General Manager of a dealership.
David lives in Atlanta with his wife and 6 children.
Patrick serves as SVP of Client Service and Strategy. In his role Patrick acts as “chief client partner” for RSX’s top customers. He works cross functionally with Sales, Account Management, Product and Insights to provide media strategy and custom solutions.
Over the past 15 years, Patrick has held leadership positions in digital media, technology and marketing. He started his career at JCrew.com and quickly transitioned to help aQuantive build its online media and ad-serving offerings in NYC. More recently, he worked for WPP, where he headed up digital media for MEC North America and was a part of Wunderman’s leadership team working on Microsoft globally.
Patrick has a BA and MFA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He currently resides in Seattle, where he enjoys spending time on the slopes with his two young sons.

Client Service and Strategy
As VP of Analytics and Insight, Patricio leads a team responsible for client-facing business intelligence, reporting, and program optimization.
A Big Data expert, Patricio brings more than 14 years of statistical predictive modeling experience to HookLogic. Before HookLogic, he worked at dunnhumby, where he led teams of analysts to drive customer and brand insights for clients including Macy’s and Kroger. Prior to dunnhumby he built the web analytics and advanced analytics teams at Zappos, working closely with brands like Nike on customer insights and sales strategies. Earlier in his career he managed risk analytics and marketing at netSpend, a prepaid debit card company.
Patricio is trilingual, speaking English, French and Spanish fluently. In his spare time Patricio enjoys time with his two young children and playing tennis.
VP, Analytics & Insights
As VP of RSX Strategy, Steve is responsible for driving future developments for the long-term RSX business model, product roadmap, and product marketing.
Prior to joining HookLogic, he held senior Account Planning positions at Campbell-Ewald and Digitas, providing consumer insight and strategic guidance for a diverse array of brands. Steve previously served as Co-Director of Marketing Optimization at Beyond Interactive, a digital marketing and media company. He helped spearhead the launch of Beyond Interactive’s Mexico City office, where he held a position as Director of Client Services.Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Economics and Housing from Cornell University.
Vice President, RSX Strategy
As the original product owner of Retail Search Exchange (RSX), Rob leverages his deep product knowledge in his current role as VP of Client and Partner Integration. Rob leads the client engineering team, onboarding new retailers into RSX and creating custom, ad-hoc solutions. He also acts as primary technical liaison for partnerships, integrating HookLogic’s technology into their product offerings.
Prior to joining HookLogic, Rob spent more than a decade working in ecommerce business and technology, with roles ranging from Director of ecommerce at a brand-direct website, to Product Manager at Channel Intelligence (acquired by Google) owning the technical relationships and integration with Comparison Shopping Engines and Marketplaces. Most recently, he was the Product Director who built the third party seller marketplace and product information management system for Sears.com.
In his free time, Rob is an active mentor for startup incubators and venture competitions (currently for MCIPrize, previously for TechArb, MICEVC, and Excelerate Labs).
Vice President, Client and Partner Integration
Brian serves as SVP of Travel for Hooklogic, where he is responsible for ensuring our customers get the most out of our travel network – whether creating new advertising opportunities or surfacing the data that advertisers need to make informed decisions on the best way to improve their performance.
Brian has spent the last decade in online travel, having spent time at Expedia, American Express Vacations, and Travelport, both in the US and Europe. He brings a unique and broad perspective of the international travel landscape, having worked across the entire travel eco-system. A seasoned product executive and business leader, Brian has a track record of success in identifying and executing on new product and business opportunities. Prior to joining Hooklogic, Brian served as the VP of Product for kgb, where he was responsible for the commerce portfolio of business, including kgbDeals, a daily deal business operating across the US, UK and France. During his time at Travelport, Brian led Product for Travelport’s Consumer & New Ventures team, where was instrumental in Travelport’s acquisition of Sprice.com, a French metasearch company, and the management of the business post-acquisition.
Brian holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Abilene Christian. In his spare time, you’ll most easily find Brian at either the local climbing gym, or out at any number of outdoor crags when the weather suits.
Vice President, Travel
Chris has a highly multi-functional role as VP of Travel Products. He oversees the product, engineering and account management teams that work across our various Travel Media and Travel SAAS platforms. In addition, Chris is the main point of contact for Expedia.
Chris can best be described as a technology entrepreneur with a passion for product and operations, with experience in Finance and HR. In all of his previous experiences in getting businesses off the ground, Chris has focused on delivering strong results via a client-centric view to problem-solving. His most recent role prior to HookLogic was with Spirit Shop, where he built a platform that offered 115,000 websites for every school in the country, which enabled them to run their own online stores of curated artwork. With Spirit Shop, Chris managed the product/technology, ran SEO, and acted as overall operations manager.As native of Michigan, Chris graduated Eastern Michigan with a double major in Marketing and Communications. Chris enjoys playing and watching sports (mostly Tigers Baseball) & spending time with his family.
Vice President, Travel Products
As Managing Director, Ben has overall responsibility for HookLogic’s business in Europe, which includes growing both the supply and demand sides of the business, partnership development, staffing and business administration activities.
Prior to joining HookLogic, Ben acquired a broad skill base from several roles within Xerox Europe. During his tenure as eBusiness & Sales Systems Development Manager, Ben was responsible for leveraging Internet technologies to optimize business processes and generate operational efficiencies within the sales organization following the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Ben also gained experience in a Senior Account Business Development role, where he had direct account and revenue growth responsibilities. Earlier in his career, Ben supported business and product development initiatives at the Cambridge-based technology start-up PageCam.Ben earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Sheffield, England. Outside of work, he is an active traveler and sportsman.
Managing Director, Europe
As VP, Media Sales for Europe, Paul oversees the sales operation of HookLogic throughout Europe.
Paul joined HookLogic with 15 years’ digital advertising experience. He has significant expertise in building global enterprise relationships and boasts an extensive knowledge of the ad technology space. At AudienceScience, he was most recently running the Global Accounts team, where he led the post-sales team and focused on defining the engagement strategy for all Enterprise customers. Paul also was one of the founding team members for Amazon's media business in the UK. Prior to that, he served in a senior sales roles at AdLink.
Paul graduated from Lancaster University and in his spare time likes to lift really heavy weights. He is a married father of 3 lovely daughters: Jessica, Ava and Sienna.
